5.  All-American Auction:  Doors open at 6pm, auction begins at 7pm at VFW Post 3729, 79th Street in Beach Haven Crest.  The Ladies Auxilliary hosts the gift auction, seating and parking are limited.  Admission is $5, includes a cupcake, door prize and 10 tickets.

Friday August 19th:
 
1. Friday Fun Days: July 1 thru August. Bayview Park, 68th St. & Long Beach Blvd., Brant Beach. Watersports are featured beginning at 5pm. Sunday August 21st:

1. Art Festival:  10am-4pm at the Surf ity Firehouse.  The Jewish Community Center of LBI hosts a juried show featuring watercolors, pottery, mixed media, food and entertainment, and more.

2.  Dog Day Road Race:  Registration at 7:30am, race begins 9:30am at High Point Firehouse in Harvey Cedars.  More than 800 runners participate in the 5 mile run.  Call 609-618-2698 for more information.

Barnegat Lighthouse is Open: The # 2 tourism destination in the State Of New Jersey is open on weekends and has reported a “full parking lot” and a great number of visitors in the past few weekends.
